The Center for Health and the Global Environment's original website had been updated by various people in the department using various versions of WYSIWYG tools, making both the user interface and the files and folder structure a total mess. DB Design was challenged with reorganizing the entire 300+ page website into an intuitive file system, and clean up the code on all the pages create a consistent look-and-feel and remove deprecated html.
After careful analysis, it was decided that a redevelopment was imminent and DB Design created a new html shell and navigation system based on the old design using a combination of xhtml/CSS and PHP, and page-by-page plugged in the original content.
